The relevance of the paper is determined by fact that information component plays most important role in hybrid war Russia conducting against Ukraine today. In conditions Russia’s full-scale aggression Ukraine, study informational factor wars an urgent problem both military and political sciences, as well social communications science.
 purpose this article to highlight warfare context development mass communication.
 methodology based on use systemic, structural-functional, comparative analysis methods for process developing warfare.
 conclusions. has been inherent since ancient times, but its intensity, forms were communication tools, which took place basis scientific technological progress.
